MALCHIODO Red (natural wine)

Denomination: IGT Toscana Rosso

Blend: Sangiovese 100%

Soil: origin of Chianti boulder weathering, sandy with medium stonyness and absence of limestone. The pH is sub acidic.

Vinification: after hand destemming of selected grapes, the crushed grapes are placed in cocciopesto amphora to ferment and macerate until December. Once drawn off, it is left to age again in cocciopesto until the following September. Bottled without filtration and without the addition of sulphites.

Sensory notes: The prolonged contact with the skins and fine lees guarantees a wine full of colour, with an excellent structure and a very balanced tannic texture. Turbid by nature, possible presence of sediment.
